Apologies from Messrs Peugeot, but they didn’t do a 506.
They did a 605, which may satisfy the Americans and anyone else who likes their dates backwards.
I recall it (they’ve vanished now) as a dreary looking thing but it looks quite well in this picture.

In the right circumstances it can look quite nice.
Peugeot’s take on the Alfa 164.
So it’s no M5, but it does have some clean lines.
